Article 6.4: MAX Funded Account Resets

Overview

MAX funded accounts (Standard MAX and Express MAX) now offer a one-time reset option for traders whose Sim-Funded account has failed. This article covers who is eligible, what the reset costs, and exactly how the process works.

Important: This reset applies to Sim-Funded MAX accounts only. Live-Funded accounts with real money cannot be reset under any circumstances.

Am I Eligible for a MAX Funded Account Reset?

You are eligible for a MAX funded account reset if all three of the following conditions are met:

1. Your account number begins with EPS or EPV (these are MAX funded account prefixes).
2. You have not yet received a payout on that account. Once any payout has been processed on an account, the reset option for that account is permanently forfeited.
3. You have not previously reset this account. Each account is eligible for one reset only.

OG funded accounts are not eligible. If your account number starts with 7PV, it is an OG funded account and cannot be reset. You will need to restart the evaluation process.

Retired Express MAX accounts are not eligible. Express MAX was retired on July 1, 2026 and replaced by STEADY. Once a retired Express MAX account is blown, it cannot be reset. The MAX funded reset option applies to Standard MAX accounts only.

What Happens After a Reset?

After paying the reset fee, your MAX funded account restarts from the beginning. You will need to rebuild from scratch under all standard funded account rules for your account type.

If the account fails again after the reset, the reset option is no longer available. You would need to restart the entire evaluation process from the beginning.

Key Rules at a Glance

• Sim-Funded only. Live-Funded accounts cannot be reset.
